Grace Christian School offers a wide variety of events in addition to the classroom, to suit students’ interests at GCS, including:
Field Trips-GCS students travel around the region and country for educational and enrichment programs.
Student Government-The student government is designed to build leadership in Grace students. Class officers are selected each year and assist class advisors in the running of their classes. They also participate in public speaking, advising policy, and serving the Grace community.
Chapels-Students participate in chapel in many ways including leading dramas, leading worship, and worship tech ministry.
Yearbook-Every year, Middle School and High School Students help to photograph and develop our GCS Yearbook.
Missionary Work-Grace Christian School provides opportunities for students to serve others through working in our local community. The GCS experience culminates in a missions’ trip to Guatemala.
Fine Arts-Students build their skills in a variety of instruments, as well as participate in band and chorus.
Drama-Each year the Drama Club performs a play or musical.
ACSI Activities-Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, Creative Writing Contest, Music Festival
Socials-There are social events throughout the year to build the Grace community for students including Prom and Winter Ball.
Science and Learning Fairs-Students complete and present projects to foster creative learning.
Christian Life Emphasis Week-A week devoted to applying Christianity into the students’ everyday life.
Spirit Week-A fun week where students dress in themes to build community.
College Visits-High School students visit a variety of Christian colleges.
