At Grace Christian School, we inspire students to live with character by teaching traditional Christian values such as joy, peace, respect, hard work, and self-control. Students are taught about their amazing worth, and their unlimited potential. Our goal is for children to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically during their time at GCS (Luke 2:52). Our Christian staff develop a nurturing environment where discipling the whole student takes place. Every subject is taught from a Christian perspective. Developing character will help students to be truly successful in their lives both now and in the future.
We inspire students to love with the hands of Jesus through teaching them to treat others with kindness, help those in need, and make this world a better place. Students connect with their community through visits to adult services for outreaches. Students also serve various community organizations as part of their education at GCS including: individuals in need, local pregnancy centers, churches, cemeteries, and first responders. GCS has partnered with worldwide helping organizations. Our high school experience culminates with a mission trip. GCS students have gone on 5 mission trips to Dorie’s Promise, an orphanage in Guatemala, for a week of service. GCS has also participated with the Ugandan Water Project to provide a water tank to a Christian School in Uganda. Two representatives from GCS went to Uganda to serve for two weeks, and to meet the school children and leaders as a result. At GCS, students are taught that they can change their world for the better, regardless of where God calls them.
Each student commits to the student pledge, which we call The Grace Way. The student pledge is, “I will do my best, I will tell the truth, and be kind.”
