The GCS sports program is on the move! Our varsity soccer and basketball teams have joined the local Vermont sports leagues. We have gone from the new team in the league, to a playoff contender. This year our Varsity Boys Soccer had their most successful season ever, as a State Semifinalist. We also partnered with the Bennington Sports Center to host home games for our JV and Varsity basketball teams. We have a partnership with local public schools, where our students can play sports we don’t offer. You can follow our Varsity sports on SB Live!
Our coaches, athletes, and families foster a great community that is purposeful in honoring God through athletics! The Athletic program is consistent with the general objectives of Grace Christian School. Athletics are viewed as an integral part of the total curriculum, and as such, every effort is made to support the program with the best facilities, equipment, and with the most qualified staff. Our student athletes begin building skills at a young age with our 5th-8th grade, boys and girls teams. Our JV and Varsity programs play competitively and build lifelong skills and character. Our coaches and staff help students apply for colleges to continue playing their sport.

SPORTSMANSHIP: Grace Christian School is striving to be a class act sportsmanship school. This is an initiative which conducts an educationally based athletic program to enhance the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and educational growth of its participants by providing healthy and challenging competition.
ACHIEVER: The GCS athlete always strives to raise their level of performance to a higher level both academically and athletically. The athlete knows that improvement comes only from consistent hard work.

We love basketball! Our MS boys’ and girls’ teams play competitively with local public and private school teams. This year we have partnered with Sacred Heart to have a MS Girls team.

Homeschool students are welcome to try out for our teams!
We also have an agreement with Mount Anthony Middle and High School for our students to be able to try out for sports we don’t offer. This offer is valid even if you live in a different state!
