Co-Curriculars

Everything we do as a school is part of our curriculum, and is aimed at our mission to enhance students character, personal excellence, and caring for others. This is why we don’t have extra curricular activities, we have co-curriculars.

Our weekly specials enrich our student’s lives, and are a major part of our school.

PE More than Physical Education, our program inspires students to lifestyle wellness. We are committed to teaching healthy lifestyles from Pre-School through Grade 12. Students in PE learn skills and techniques which translate to their everyday life, and any sports in which they participate. Our program is designed to inspire each student to healthy living both now and in their future.

Art-Students build their skills in a variety of Art techniques. Our students also learn art history and elements of Art. Students in K-8 have art once a week. HIgh School students may choose from Art classes, electives, and clubs.

Pottery-Students in grades 2-12 take pottery class in our new Pottery Studio. They learn different pottery techniques including pinch pots, coil pots, and slabs, as well as throwing on the potter’s wheel. Students glaze and fire their own creations!

Media-Literacy is a foundation of learning. We have a strong literacy focus at GCS from PS through 12th Grade. Students interact with and are encouraged to take out books in our beautiful library. Also in media class students in K-8 learn typing and computer skills.

Music- as well as participate in Band, Chorus, and Worship Team

Spanish students in grades 2-12 have an opportunity to learn Spanish at GCS!
